"I hold full confidence in our capacity to heal emotional wounds, sometimes we just need guidance and support from a therapist to navigate the journey. I have both experienced this in myself and have witnessed it again and again in my work. I approach our work together with respect, sensitivity and understanding. I see therapy as partnership work. You bring your expertise in your own life and I bring my knowledge and skills and together we find ways to help you feel better in the world.

I usually start by asking what has brought you to therapy right now. I focus on the present first, try to get a sense of what your day to day is like, get an understanding of your strength, resources, challenges, social connections, sleep, exercise, etc. Some clients feel rushed to disclose a traumatic history right from the start. My approach is to emphasise and focus on safety first and to give you time to see how you feel with me before going any deeper.

I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
